Lets see im a big Trans fan always had and always will and lets start off with who YUR favorite was i know there are alot of u Ironhide , Optimus , and Starscream fans out there but u already know who mine is lol thats right Bruticus !!! the renegades that were against that idiot megatron and was leaded by the real decepticon leader Starscream i swear if he was in the movie i doubt any autobots would have survived the only problem was that his inteligence wasnt that high cause all the other combaticons didnt really get along they especially hated Swindel who was like Starscreams protogie always trying a way to sell out the combaticons but their overall strength and firepower were pretty out matched so whos YUR favorite Transformer

I would have to go with the loyalest decpticon ever "SOUNDWAVE" :cool: . He has an arsenal of Decpticons in his chest, plus he like a ninja graemlins/smileJapan.gif always infilltrating the autobots base. Rumbles the man he takes out transformers ten times his size :eek: .

I watched that show... when it was done in CG and with animals. I dunno if thats what you are talking about, but I liked the bat-dude or the rat. graemlins/teardrop.gif CG is AWESOME!!! Why did they cancel Reboot, WHY? *dies*

i don't care. it was a good show; and done by Mainframe, who did the CG animal Transformers that used to be on either Fox kids or WB. Can't remember... gauh fox kids sucks now. grrr...

But you might be talking about beast machines i didn't care for that to much graemlins/whymewhyme.gif , it was too repedetive they did the same thing ever week :mad: . sneak in some where get caught run for their lives over and over again tongue.gif .

I watched for the CG. Nothing has an interesting plot anymore ~ everything once dissolved down to the basics has the same story ;) *dissolves into a death-y-puddle*

i really didnt follow beast wars too much the only episode i liked was when STarscream came back and tried to take over that was kool as for Beast Machines they should have never came out wit that series

My favorite Transformers were always the gestalts. I mean come on, its a bunch of Transformers and they turn into a really big Transformer. Amongst the gestalts, I'd have to say Devastator was the coolest. Not only was he the original gestalt, but he was also the most well designed one if you ask me. Three years ago I finally achieved my childhood dream of assembling Devastator via the magic of ebay. Wahoo! :D

In the non-gestalt category I'll have to go with Soundwave. Shin already said it all for him, so I'm not gonna bother explaining that one. ;)

Beast Wars was kind of cool, it was no original Transformers but oh well. It was somewhat interesting and it was better than some of the other cartoons on at the time. Beast Machines unfortunately was completely unacceptable. Everyone looked retarded in machine and transformer mode and the plots weren't interesting at all. :rolleyes:

By the way, is anyone as excited as me bout the pending Transformers season 1 dvd boxset? I'm gonna be all over that like a pimp on a purple velvet cowboy hat. tongue.gif

Overall, I really liked the Dinobots the best. They looked the coolest, plus they were barbaric misfits and what not. I have to agree with Shin_Qua about Soundwave. Soundwave was awesome, with that jaguar and pterodactyl bird. Those two critters seemed all the more evil because they couldn't talk, just growl and scream. The only lame thing about Soundwave was that it transformed into a lousy boombox. I mean, c'mon. Then there was that one Decepticon, I can't remember it's name, but it was like all alone on some remote space station, and it could transform into a laser gun. He was cool because he had no face, just a single light. Or that other Decepticon, that was a space-going locomotive. That one was nifty too.
But if I had to pick one, my favorite Transformer would have to be Jetfire. He was only in one episode that I can recall (Fire in the Sky, I believe). But he was awesome. Fully tricked-out fighter jet (one of the few aircraft amongst the Autobots, even though some would argue he wasn't really an Autobot), red and white, oh yeah! But best of all, the Jetfire toy wasn't made of plastic like the others, but of metal! TIGHT. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to buy Jetfire when I was nine, nor can I afford it now. Ni modo.

Well friends one of favorite transformers was Rumble he proved being tiny does not mean you can't bring the big boys down.

Second would have to be soundwave he was just cool. Starscream was the best next to Megatron only that Starscream was a backstabbing coward but he did it with style :D

My honorable mentions are Fire convoy,Gel shark,Dark convoy,and Mach alert.

But always remember that the best will always be MEGATRON. He gets 20 bad guy points out of 10

tongue.gif i would disagree with devastator i dont believe he was the best desingned i would have to say Predaking was the best looking out of all of them if devastaor would be under any category it would be the dumbest yes he did have strength but the other constructicons were not tooo found of Scrapper the leader and thats why they had a hard time agreeing on one thing thats why he always got his ass whooped by the dinobots

I'll have to agree with Shin. Soundwave was the man, er, bot! :D But the one thing that always confounded me was how a, at max, 6 inch x 4 inch tape recorder could transform into a 20 foot robot? I mean I know that the Japanese had miniturization technology down cold in the 80's, but still... graemlins/thinking.gif

Skyfire may have been lame in the series, but he made a damn cool toy. Even if he was a total ripoff of the Veritech fighters from Robotech, his toy was made in a lot higher quality than the actual Robotech toys. I always envied my cousin for having that, all I had were a few cheap transformers. :(

If he was smarter he would have been the leader of the decepticon by now tongue.gif , but Megatron always came back and Starscream whined "don't kill me, i was just taking command till you came back graemlins/teardrop.gif " or some excuse like that. Except for the movie when Galvatron got mad graemlins/reallypissed.gif and sent Starscream to hell!!
