Why can't I..

WHY CANT I THINK OF THESE GREAT THINGS THAT ARE SO FUNNY! Like Jhonen! and Hiro! It isnt fair! I cant think of any ideas! Well I suppose the topic really is, have you ever felt so angry because there is something you cant do?

I think what you are talking about is the frustration that comes in creative thinking.. well in your case...

but I guess it happens when we try to do something and don't do as good as we had thought... but keep on trying but do it with a calm head or you will not get far... it might sound cliche but it is true... it disrupts your focus... which you need...

I cant think of anything that hasnt been done already, it really sucks. I'm like, Oh I know a guy from hell who trys to kill everyone! taken. Ohh I know a guy whos like a vampire slayer except with babies! taken. I have about 10 volumes worth of comics that failed miserablyy. I can't think of anything funny. I think I'll ask what people think is funny and then try with that info, my problem is I don't know where to start.

I know what you mean.. it is easier to finish things than to get them started... well if asking others has not helped maybe you should come up with something and see how it goes... you can not please everyone and somethings are not generally accepted.. what's funny for one person may not be for another... you are your own reliable source on this on...

and if it makes you feel better.. I have a friend with a closet full of unfinished comics... all started, with a exposition set up.. but never quite done...

you should plan it out more.. maybe think in general what you want like you want it to be funny... than continue in what you want.. adding different elements and things like that.. you something that is unheard of but makes sense...

like Rocko's modern life... come on now.. a wallaby and a cow...

I was thinking about a crazy resturant or something and all the people there are crazy... and the main character works the register but hes the craziest of all. He thinks hes a demon so he got ears genetically attached to his head. So yeah, I think I'll go with that. :) waht do you think?

not bad... not bad... it is a good start... you could do this.. where the main character is trying to get a job there... a sane quiet guy... and he gets the job and the cashier is suppose to train him or is his supervisor... also the manager could be a @$$hole where he fires people for the hell of it...

just a thought....
