I was picked on in middle school too. I went to Catholic school so it was even worse then public. The stupid popular girls would cheat on tests and homework yet because their parents went to the church. they were moved into the "smart" classes. While I (not being Catholic) was forced to stay in classes that were intended for average students when in reality the only reason we were there was that all the spots in the "smart" class had been filed by stupid preps. The class I was in was mind nummingly boring and simple. What really sucks is that becasue (once again) the preps parrents were affiliated with the school they were given A's on there report cards. When they hadn't done anything! I didn't try because it was easy. All I got was an A- and a note saying "is not enthusiastic about learning" or something bogus like that. UHHHHHH! :mad:

I hate when the carelessness of one person affects those who are around them especially if they hurt them. for example on sunday I was at the park and I was just chillin in the parking lot in my friend's car when I hear a scream, so I assume that it was a fight that broke out then I found out the a two year old kid was hit by a car, the driver didn't have a licence, insurence, or citizenship.
It was sad to see such a small child to lie in a puddle of blood like that, he later died at the hospitial.
They say that the parents were talking with some people the met in the park and that he wandered off.
this is the sort of thing that rips out your heart and soul, throw them to the ground and spit on them, but the bad part is that there are far more worse events that happen to people, to children.
It makes you think twice about life, about how you live, I hope no one out there experiences something like this and for those who have I am sorry, I will never be able to forget the image of the little boy's body that floated in a sea of blood from his heart.

hmm I dunno this topic is an interesting place to rant, and this is more of a pet peeve then anything.

I hate people who pretend to grieve, ones who show this face of sympathy they don't truly feel, i hate people who stick their noses into the business's of others particularily in matters of death. I swear we are like vultures swooping down for the kill. I especially dislike those that lecture me tell me off for being cold, and heartless. It happened in elementary when a friend OF MINE! whom they teased every day commited suicide. In the end I wasn't even able to go to his funeral because the rest of our class and several others went in and filled it because they could get out of school.

Anyways, tommorrow I attend a funeral for the first time in my life, this time instead of a friend it's my great grandma. She broke her hip, it was finally better and she could go home then she got the pneumonia, then she got better again, she stayed in a nursing home for two months just to make sure.

Then the day came she was going to be let home again, instead of letting her go the nurse laughed at her and lectured her about how she'd never be able to live on her own and had to accept she was too old to do anything anymore and a waste. Yup, this women told my great grandma this after all she had gone through these past few months all the odds she beat. I saw it, they caught it on tape! My grandma then told her to leave and that she was going to go to sleep. She shut her eyes, and she didn't wake up.

I never wanted to believe the kids in elementary school that I was heartless but even after all of that I couldn't find a reason to cry, I was disgusted by teh women but I just tried to thinkg logically, i mean the nurse was rude as all hell but right in a way, great grandma was 104 years old, it was amazing up until a few months ago that she had been living alone all of this time, and she never would have been happy living with any of us, perhaps with her older sister winnie but how much better would that be? they are nearly the same age, and winnie's the elder of the two!

So nonetheless I go down and watch them bury a shell, I don't know I just feel that I should see the silver lining and see that obviously she's happier, she definatly lived a full life and perhaps she'll be reborn and feel what it's like to be young again.

yeah a little melencholy not quite pisses me off but in some ways it's close to it.

Aye, i agree that life is very confusing, but look at it this way; if there is summat throen at you, it was done so because yuo can handle it. everythingh that happens to us in tehis lifetime is a challenge, otherwise it woudl not be life. all challenges can and are overcome, it's just a matter of how and when.

I've never been in teh boat of being medicated for depression. Maybe i'm too strong willed for it, or maybe i'm not meant to be in such a boat. it is not my place to say anything about your depressions, but i will say this; the road is long, and ever winding, but the prize at teh end is worth the journey.


time for my rantings... i'm somewhat drawn between two different roads right now. i just rceently (over teh last like, week or so) have begun dating a girl, and i feel very close to her, it almost scares me how close we feel after only a week. I've been in relationships in teh past where we move dtoo fast, and it ultimatelky wound up with the pair of us doing teh whole "suicide for lost love" thing. i'm half afraid that if i don't stop and check myself i will wind up repeating that. however, my reason dictates that Jenn is a mcuh stronger person than that, and that since i have begun walking teh road of attonement i've become stronger as well. however, old habits of fearing results that may not come to pass die hard.

anyways, i right now have two choices before me; do what i Want to do, which is to be teh whole moving romantic who always knows what do and when to do it. i WANT to take her in my arms and give her an earth moving kiss. but i also know what i SHOULD do. i SHOULD move slwoly, give teh two of us time to get to know each other better before we start moving too fast, and just in general, well, move slwoly. i know which road i will take; teh one of slowness. i know that if we move too fast we will both wind up getting hurt emotionally, and i know that i want to have nothing to do with any loss of apparent innocence on her part. however, i also know that it will ultimately come to pass anywyas, so there is nothing i can do about it buyt risde the waves of time.

i hate doctors. ive had this really bad cough (almost sounds like a smokers cough but i dont smoke) and ive been to like 5 doctors for it. ive had an operation. been on countless inhalers, nebulizers, and other medications for it. ive been diagnosed with bronchitus and athesma. not to mention all the tests. it really pisses me off. cause my moms like you should bring your inhaler. now i have had athema attacks. but that was the environment. (maybe im alergic to church??!) and after all the stuff that i went through the caugh is merely a seasonal thing. and its pretty much gone. and yea thats all i have to say for right now.

*nods* you're so right there. People want to act the same as everyone else so that they dont stick out from the norm, and get abuse from an aggressive person for being different. Conformity is real complex, and the fact that people put other people down because of this is just because they are insecure of themselves (not having the individuality), so project the anger on themselves on a scapegoat, and blame them for being that way. This thing does have a general pyschological term that describes it, i can't remember it now though.... Its called the social identity theory.

People should be allowed to live as a unqiue person. Without variety, what would life be? One bloody mess, i can tell you! Although I'm not really as prejudice, If the world was made up of only "chavs" or "townies"... god help us, as i find them to be the most arrogant persons to live. They think they own everything, and whenever you are in sight of them, because you are different, they like to have a go. The fact of my sexuality, causes problems again, but it doesn't bother me anyway; if they can't accept me for me, then i dont care. (plus lincoln anyway has one of the highest gay populations in the uk... lol)

As for the understanding of anime and regards to the katana, you know that parents in the UK are pretty old-fashioned. As I don't know your parents, i can't comment too much, but generally parents here are more old fashioned and traditional than parents anywhere in the world. They don't want to see their children commit wrong doing (as with any), but its the way they go about inforcing these resistrictions, and to what level these restriction are at. With the anime, yes i know about that. Although i can't draw to save my life, i read a little manga that i borrow from a friend. I also look at my friends art work and fictional RP's, and yet it is seen as being "sad" because i'm into these kind of things. The two things people associate with manga/anime are either: 1- Hentai or 2- Cartoon. People that say any or both of these are correct, yet hentai is not very popular, and most manga that i know of is definitley not hentai. They are a cartoon, but one with a hell of a lot more depth and interest to it that a tradional "cartoon". They have meaning behind them, ones in which tell a moral of how life should be lived. One of my favourite: Chobits. I think that one of the base lines in that says, love whatever and whomever your heart falls for, and to not let you be put off by anyone/anything else. And thats exactly howi live. Now I'm making out that manga is all so serious, but it has its sub-genres too. Humour, horror, and mystery are just three that may be used in a good manga book. So yes, its all a bad world, just think that you are different and unqiue, and thats what makes you you, and be proud about it!

I am so pissed off with my sixth form college at the moment! I firstly am set tonnes of work today, to hand in on monday, when i already had 2 pieces of coursework and that the teachers know that already. I asked for an extention... because i knew i wasnt gonna get it finished... and all they said was... no, i expect you to do this work, as you are an A grade student, and you should find time whenever to get this work done. Your work is more important than anything else, and you should learn to manage your time!

OH REALLY!!! i have got three essays in Biology to do, 1 extensive piece of coursework to do in physics that is going to take me 10 hours (i was only set it on thursday), Notes and questions and pages to read from my books in chemsitry, coursework sheets on ethics and procedures in Psychology, and a presentation to plan in general studies, as well as a personal statement to write! GAH... ALL FOR MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!

THEN... i was told i was not elected for prefect! because

a) I'm not liked by the Head of Year... (he hates me because i'm good at what i do, and he thinks that is hould be stupid and everything because i've proved him wrong before)... I also hate his guts for the fact he is a little git for liking people who are only wealthy (i'm and my family are not)

b)He says I'm not motivated and hard working enough! I BEG YOUR PARDON!!! jsut look at the *add bad word here* grades i'm getting... ALL A's... No B's or anything!!! -yet other staff think i'm the hardest working person in teh school... and still have a good personality and social side... and that i am definitely prefect material-

c) He also says that the headmaster doesn't like it, because guess what! I'm GAY! yeah... my shcool.sixth form college sucks! now these are the big generalizations of goths and emos, and they don't always do all the stuff on the lists :)
