Am I the only one who resents Sunday (besides going to church if you are christian...or whatever your religion may be)? I mean all I ever do is sleep really late from staying up late on Saturday doing god knows what and do homework -- not like you can do anything else anyway! you cant stay up doing anything like watching anime because you have work or school tomorrow, and if you wanted to even watch a little tv....there is absolutely NOTHING on tv on Sunday.........oh well....I guess it is better than going to school ...

Dear god man, how much crack are you smoking? Some of the best programming is on Sundays.
For the sports fan you have your favorite team giving it their all during football season (maybe this the wrong group to talk about the merits of football). Plus whatever sports they play when its not football season, I really only watch football.
For the Sci-Fi nerd you usually have some or all of Stargate SG-1, Star Trek in all its incarnations, Andromeda, and whatever other Sci-Fi shows are syndicated these days. Not to mention the X-Files (although why that show wasn't put to sleep 5 seasons ago is an X-File all its own).
And of course for the fan of comedy , you have Futurama (when not pre-empted by football), King of the Hill (I don't really like it, but obviously someone does), the Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, and the under appreciated HBO original comedy, Curb your enthusiasm. Oh yeah, and you can't forget the Man Show and all the other new episodes of Southpark and stuff like that they show on Comedy Central late at night.
Plus there's always Adult Swim, but maybe your too young to watch that one.
So as you can see, there's certainly something to watch on Sunday!

Oh sure there's something to watch, but there's a slight conflict with homework. Plus the TV is all the way in the next room, and I don't feel like going that far. Its like SUndays rob me of my walking powers. And the power to think and do work. Damn Sunday is like Kryptonite to my working skillz.
And who actually wakes up early enough to go to church? I'm a Christian, sorta, but I haven't gone to church in...WAYYYY too long. Sheesh its been....over 4 years. This must be why I'm doing so bad ever since High School started.

Well if yer not working then you may as well watch tv. Just remember to wheel the tv into your room Saturday night and you'll be all set.
And yes, you're probably right, god is probably trying to smite you. Watch out for random bolts of lightning!

If average tv is no longer fun for you then you're obviously not watching the right tv. There's tons of good, original shows on.
And if anime doesn't rehash topics just as much then I'm a monkeys uncle.

WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY!!! Its a great show. Ryan Styles (sp?) is hilarious! I love that guy! He was awesome in Hot Shots: part Deus.
Plus there are movies such as stuff on HBO, SHOTIME, CINEMAX, and all the extra channels ya get with Digital Cable. I love the Encore Action Channel. My main source of TV anime. They'll show part of a series every Saturday night, and at least some anime every couple/few/other day or so. Also Cinemax has anime sometimes. Goku: The Midnight Eye, Appleseed, Shadow Skills, Ghost in the SHell, Battle Arena Toshindin, plus some more I can't think of are some anime that I've gotten from the movie channels and Encore Action Channel, part of the Showtime movie pack or somethin.

sunday is sucks most of the time because your bored but think it could be alot worse if you had school i will take being bored and playing diablo2 or watching anime all morning than the dreadful school
Hmmm.. Sunday... It does just have an overall 'dead' and 'lazy' feeling. And sometimes you get that looming feeling Sunday night... knowing Monday awaits. I usually just chill out online/IRC and maybe clean my room, or read to pass the time. Nothing too special

Man, what's the world coming to when kiddies don't mindlessly watch tv in their freetime? Reading? Socializing? My god, the world is falling apart at the seams! I'm living in a cuckoo clock!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I've had a beef with Sunday for the longest time. It's like slow torture, because what follows Sunday? Monday. It never fails, dammit. And another problem with Sunday is that it arrives waaaaay too fast. My solution would be to extend Saturday and make Sunday only ten minutes long. That way it's over in a blink.

hm... sundays. wake up at an ungodly hour, get dressed in a damned skirt and frickin' high heels that make me wish i didn't have feet, get dragged down to the church building where i sit for two and a half hours listening to the old one drone, come home, eat, sleep, and get on line.
i would prefer sleeping in.

On Sundays I usually watch porn on DVD
But seriously Sunday is great. it allows you to sleep in and gives you an excuse to do a lot of nothing. I usually play video games or catch a quarter of football when in season or i try to find some hockey. When i feel like actually doing something I take the T into Cambridge and wander around Harvard Square and browse the cool stores. Or I hang out with my friends until I go home at around 6 and wait for good TV to come on. Then once the simpsons is over I turn the TV off (Malcom hasn't been the same since his voice started to change) and write. then I fall asleep reading. And thats sunday to me.

Where Sunday usually does have a "lazy day" feeling to it, it's because you're dwelling on the negative aspects. Sunday is a good time to catch up on stuff, and if you treat it like an average day, it won't drag. You people obviously don't have enough games to play, so go get some! Bargain bin software!
About the religious aspect of Sunday, it's pretty inconsiderate of the school system to assign sunday as one of our days off in the weekend. If Sunday is supposed to be a day of complete rest without any work, then we only have one free day. I blame everything on the government idiots who plague people with useless and completely bias information that's said to be standard for education. I may be somewhat of a Christian, but I don't believe in denominations at all. Plus, I believe about God on a logical scale without faith included(Ask me in the IRC channel about that ;P ...). Personal interpretation and in depth deduction technique can get you most everywhere.
