yep, my knee really really really really hurts right now, and its numb. (painkillers) Well, u see, i was on my way up the stairs cuz i was already late for the bus and err...i kinda fell UP the stairs... anyway, i totally wrecked my knee, as in, i cant walk! and when ever i do try and walk, my knee makes this awful cracking noise *twitch* and goes sorta numb... anyway, i landed right on the iron part of the stairs, right between my kneecap and my bone! WHICH HURTS LIKE HELL! i am NOT going to school tommorrow. this SUCKS!!!! my b-day is being celebrated on the 11th (its on 16th, but its a two in one, me and my bro) im gonna be practically bedridden for the whole weekend. so, think you can outdo this, eh? post your worst accidents. I'm gonna go ice my knee now..

worst accidents MUAHAHAHAHHAHA! I'll give you my most well-known one then [used to be a severe klutz so I've had my share of accidents, namely I was unable to walk around corners until I was seven so I was constantly smashing into walls].

My most well-known one starts with a school ski trip. Simple enough right? I was waiting in line for the chairlift but I was pushed ahead and was going to be caught in the gears if i didn't think fast. So I repositioned myself so I would just barely catch the next lift... I was on an angle [very minor one but just enough] instead of going up I was sent flying to the side.
I smashed face first into the control booth. A few 'friends' got tape of it and ... I still need to kill them for it. Essentially think of one of those cartoons where the head hits the object and the body slides under, that would have been it. My face was so swollen I couldn't keep my ski goggles on.

Alot of people were impressed I hadn't cried although... [I did yell *not scream* angrily " Ow that really REALLY hurt, oh well at least picture days already passed ^_^"]

I was very close to the first aid training station so I had bumbling morons trying to figure out what they were supposed to do in my situation I ended up convincing them the best thing was to let e back out on the slopes.

My teacher's were unbeliving that I was let back out but hell i would have been too if I'd have bothered to track down a mirror before I got home. My entire right side of my face was swollen right out and black and i had a giant cut from my eyebrow across my eyelid to the very edge of my cheek. I have a very strange pain tolerance.

Now for the coup de gras, the thing that will make your knee feel that much happier that you were not alone in your unluckiness-
We had yearbook photos the next day.

geez, that sux. sumthing similar to that happened to me. i was going down this REALLY steep hill and i hit a pot hole and my back practically did a 360. my shoes actually flew off and landed 30 feet apart on the road. They took me to the emergency room. I was bedridden for four days because i had so many cuts and stuff. it was so scary cuz i had so many scabs and stuff. I still have scars on my knees from it and one on my cheek (oddly, it's an X). It's okay tho, cuz you can only see it when i get a really heavy suntan. ;) And then there was this other time i got bitten by an iguana on my arm and that also shows up in the suntan. Yep, any good scars on u guys?

This is an odd one... we have this thing where we think we might be haunted [me and my older brother]. I found this pendent and everytime it was taken from me something really bad happened. The one time a light blew up when my brother went by it wearing it. The next time my room was trashed and I mean insane, and my CCS and rune cards were everywhere and three cards were sticking from my wall power, fight and the unknowable.

there is also the fact everytime i put somekind of charm or good luck type item in my room it is destroyed by morning [my dreamcatcher split in half, my METAL dragon charm *it said guarding spirit* was crumpled into a heap.]

plus my pendent after all of this one night well i wore it was gone. I searched everywhere but I could never find it. My mother simply told me 'sometimes items like that find you for a purpose and once that purpose has been fulfilled they have to go away' ... she never elaborated any further.

I had found it sparkling in my storage room tangled in a web of black ribbons. It was a pretty burnt silver with an octagonal crystal in the centre.

... to the point that one night I lent it to my brother and he came upstairs and he told me nothing as soon as I began to respond that nothing happened to me a picture came flying at my face I covered it with my left arm and it had this little pink mark.

I checked over the mark nothing. I took off my jacket when I got to school and their was this insane amount of blood on my forearm. i wipe it off and - no cut. I sat at lunch with my friends and then all of a sudden one screams that i'm bleeding, there was blood everywhere we eventually get it to stop and clean up the mess off the table [with some help from the janitor]. Then we look at my arm and there was only that same little pink mark. eventually the mark faded to a light reddish brown colour and is still there today. It's been two years and it still hasn't gone away.

......... well, that beats my story... that is insane! where do u think the pendant came from? by the way, i DO believe you. i am totally into the paranormal. my old house is haunted bcuz three people died there in the 1800s, one by a stake through the head (dont ask), the other fell out of a tree, the dad died of a disease, and the mom...well, shes in Greyston Mental Institution. weird stuff happens there, like footsteps, dumped koolaid powder(grrr), slamming doors, knocks on the walls etc. and sometimes i hear footstepsgoing across the livingroom ceiling (attic is right above it). it is weird as hell. the worst part is, when i get dropped off by the bus, i hafta wait for my stepmom to come and pick me up fromt that house, because we moved and we have to keep that house for me to stay in my current school. anyway, there is this legend that someone buried a carpetbag full of money in the walls, i havent found it yet and i've tapped on every wall in that house, and nada. anyway, ahem, so, the point of all this is that last winter, my friend nicole came over after school and we were gonna go down to the local coffee shop. anyway, so, i was getting some gloves from in the drawer(it was winter at the time) and she goes, "What's that?" and picks up this ring. Well, when she picked it up, the glass light fixture fell off the cieling, and fell on my arm. (the doctors know me by name) heh heh. anyway, i had a welt on my arm for about a month after that, and i have a few small scars, (the glass shattered on my arm) and when we came back, the ring was gone. (needless to say, we didnt get to g to the coffee shop so we settled for dunkin donuts, bah) weird...

well my mother after it had gone told me she was originally freaked by it because it looked alot like a pendent she got when she'd joined a covenent in her younger years. Her story goes as such she was in a covenent but after bren [my older brother] was born she decided to quit. She tried to return the pendent they said nope, no quitting. She tried burying etc.. but it kept getting back in with her stuff no matter how many times she wanted to get rid of it. While she was pregnant with me she tried burning it and didn't see it in the ashes or since then and during my own life we've moved alot.

This does sort of follow in and that she showed some pictures of herself wearing a version of my pendent except for it was shinier. May not be the same but the similarity is still a little weird, oh well. ^_^

you actually had people die in your hose? Neat! Ours is sorta suburban I doubt anyone died here.... then again spirits don't always rest in the place of death sometimes they choose places where the occurance/s that led to them not passing on occurred.

whoa, creeeeeeeeeepy. thats weird, maybe the pendant is back for revenge! watch out for those dark corridors! heh heh jk. anyway, thats pretty weird, maybe theres some sort of magnetism thing, i've heard about those. so it was a convent rite? it sounds kinda like a cult to me, lol. ummm...ya, well, that is pretty weird, any more evil disasters? :D

not to me! ^__^ my older brother seems to gather the most bad luck of the pair of us. Especially his friends I don't know how many of them have been changed by staying here a night.

oh well... possibly magnetism, couldn't say whether it was a cult or not as my mom is very good at not answering questions unless she wants to.

i have way tooo many. but here is a few.

i went snow boarding in 99 with a few friends in utah. first time goin. i was doin really good for my first time so i went with my friends down a really steep slope. well i sorta zoned out and hit something (can't remember) it made me slam straight into a tree feet first. broke the board and all my toes, minor concusion, and some cuts and bruses. was fun though :D . lol.

another was a few days ago. my 2 bro in laws and our friend were in a pool dippin each other. im the smallest one there so im trying to be sneaky and catch them unguarded. well i picked up my bro in law and our friend pickedme up and diped us both. i went back first into the side of the pool and hit my head. weeeee sooo much fun.....i have a huge bruse on my back and i can barely move. also have a cut on my head which sucks cause its on the side i sleep on. ah wellz.

ooo, the old "concrete poolside to the head" thing. yep, its happened many a times to me. heh, like i remember one time when i got this stupid idea to jump off of a raft and onto the concrete sidewalk. Ya, you can guess. Anyway, dude, that really sux, i hate injuries to the head the most! Btw...has anyone ever gotten stung by a bee? Cuz i have a suspicion this might be THE summer, you see, i've never gotten stung. So, is it REALLY painful or basically equal to a thumbtack in the foot? *cringe* i am dyign to know so i can prepare myself! (no, not by sticking thumbtacks in my foot)

If the stinger stays in it's pretty painful. [I had that happen the first time I was stung * I still have the stinger in my hand, I was to chicken to pull it out*] As for pools, lessee drowned and died, scraped the skin of my foot [still scarred from it damned olive skin], smashed my back into a diving board after getting knocked into by my cousin. I have more water related but not really any more pool one's I can think of. I really hope you don't get stung. The best thing to remember is to stay calm and if one lands on you pretend it's not there otherwise you're as good as stung.

YOUR NOT BEING CALM ENOUGH!!!!

lol, as long as it's a bee you should be fine, after being stung I came to the realization they only sting when they feel they or their queen are endagered. If you don't pose them any harm you should be okay. ^__^

lol, that sux especially when ur on ur way to a kareoke party... nvm, i wont get into that. ;) i consider myself lucky because i have NEVER broken any bones or gotten stung by bees, which some people consider to be the worst. okay, i have a question, has anyone here ever been stung by a jellyfish? i did and god that was a disaster, the jelyfish had gotten all broken up in peices bcuz of the storm and so i got stung all over my leg, and i mean ALL OVER. and it hurt like hell! it felt like...like rubbing fiberglass onto my leg. god was that terrible, and im sure you all know the only remedy for a jellyfish sting...

Setsuri
05-25-2003, 10:28 PM
Umm... what's the remedy for a jellyfish sting, I honestly don't know. [we don't have many jellyfish in the gaspesian coastlines or in lake ontario ... come to think of it there isn't much of anything living in lake onatario]
