purgatory is a kind of limbo. its a prison world whee you are sent to await final word as to wether you will go to heaven, or to hell. it is believed in christian mythology that yuo must go through tehtrials of purgaory in this world before attaining god's blessing and ascendingtoheaven. most major religions have this world cast as a trial area where we are tested before going to either a heaven or hell type situation. when i say that this world is but a purgatory, i mean that we all a re here for a reason, some of us to be tested, some of us to be testers. but ultimately, we all are awaiting our ascension notice.

A. Nightmare, the real question becomes ... do you really believe in heaven and hell. If this were not a place of purgatory, then why should it matter whether you were "good" or "evil"; whether you show "love" or "hatered" towards others?
Purgatory stems from the word "purge".

myu.. limbo? purgatory, whatever it is that comes next i don't care to know whether it exists or not till I get there it's always better to just live and be happy with yourself and when you reach the end you'll be satisfied you lived this life to the best of your ability.
as for the hanging comment, i knew a boy in my class who did that once, it was sad. He really hadn't meant to and it figured he was the only kind person to me at that school. He was playing a cruel joke on his brother for leaving him behind earlier that day and then when he laughed and told his brother it was just a joke he tripped forward and broke his neck. Lesson being don't hang yourself as a joke there are way to many ways to screw up and if you're gonna fake your death do the good old unsharpened retractable knife and fake blood bit.
As for jittery i can kind of understand, if i've known four friends who committed suicide at age 16 imagine how many you'd know if you're an adult.
[p.s. sorry if this sounds callus... but death's an odd issue for me since family wise everyone is in good health and my great grandma is well into her hundreds]
