ah! it's cold out... I'm frozen, and likely frostbitten again. I am bordering on taking out all of the transit chief's of our city. My fingers are so messed I cannot type right.
it's in the major negatives today with a windshield factor of 10 and I just walked over 2 kilometres to get home.
The public transit [bus drivers] in our area were locked out at twelve but noone saw fit to annouce this in anyway until 2:45 ... 5 minutes before last perriod let's out at all the highschools in our district.
My teacher was missing for the first half of the period... strange but noone cared, she said it was a family emergency something to do with her kids. Then the announcement came. A stream of profanity shot through the halls from the ridiculous amount of people at our school who rely on public transit to even get there and back.
My own complaint was that I lived to far from the school and that this was completly and utterly ridiculous. My teacher told me
" Well it's your own fault for CHOOSING to go to this school, you should have gone to dwyer or maclaughlin'
I did not choose my school, it is the nearest one to my home. The two she mentioned are FURTHER down from the school in question, on the absolute opposite side of town from where I live. Currently it is the nearest to where I live. [excluding one school which is closer in terms of total walking distance by a small margin but has no bus routes].
I in my peeved state clicked and realized what she had been doing the entire first half of the period and yelled at her ' You hypocritical bat, you ... you just left to pick up your kids from school, the reason your so calm about this is your kids are already home. You left to drive them home and you dare speak about students being lazy for not walking? I'll show you walking, I'm outta here'
[she'd also made comments with the class about them being lazy for complaining about walking in sub-zero temp. ]
I have never walked out of a class in my life, I mean I wasn't alone in and that the hallways were overflowing almost immediatly after the annoucement. I partially left because I either did that or sat pissed off taking notes on private bloody ryan and those notes would have been absolutly worthless because I owuldn't have listened to a bit of it.
I still feel sorta bad about leaving, though I know I was right with my assumption of the teacher's action because the student-teacher confirmed it when my teacher tried to gloss it over. Gah, I'm upset and confused, damn the people who made this stupid situation in the first place!
