ah! it's cold out... I'm frozen, and likely frostbitten again. I am bordering on taking out all of the transit chief's of our city. My fingers are so messed I cannot type right.
it's in the major negatives today with a windshield factor of 10 and I just walked over 2 kilometres to get home.

The public transit [bus drivers] in our area were locked out at twelve but noone saw fit to annouce this in anyway until 2:45 ... 5 minutes before last perriod let's out at all the highschools in our district.

My teacher was missing for the first half of the period... strange but noone cared, she said it was a family emergency something to do with her kids. Then the announcement came. A stream of profanity shot through the halls from the ridiculous amount of people at our school who rely on public transit to even get there and back.

My own complaint was that I lived to far from the school and that this was completly and utterly ridiculous. My teacher told me
" Well it's your own fault for CHOOSING to go to this school, you should have gone to dwyer or maclaughlin'

I did not choose my school, it is the nearest one to my home. The two she mentioned are FURTHER down from the school in question, on the absolute opposite side of town from where I live. Currently it is the nearest to where I live. [excluding one school which is closer in terms of total walking distance by a small margin but has no bus routes].

I in my peeved state clicked and realized what she had been doing the entire first half of the period and yelled at her ' You hypocritical bat, you ... you just left to pick up your kids from school, the reason your so calm about this is your kids are already home. You left to drive them home and you dare speak about students being lazy for not walking? I'll show you walking, I'm outta here'

[she'd also made comments with the class about them being lazy for complaining about walking in sub-zero temp. ]

I have never walked out of a class in my life, I mean I wasn't alone in and that the hallways were overflowing almost immediatly after the annoucement. I partially left because I either did that or sat pissed off taking notes on private bloody ryan and those notes would have been absolutly worthless because I owuldn't have listened to a bit of it.

I still feel sorta bad about leaving, though I know I was right with my assumption of the teacher's action because the student-teacher confirmed it when my teacher tried to gloss it over. Gah, I'm upset and confused, damn the people who made this stupid situation in the first place!

I know the feelin. Up here in lancaster it used to snow when i was in high school and i had to walk home too. I walked home in 15degrees and 20degree temps, it wasnt that bad. But after the second time there was a rather interestin story to go along with it when i walked home in the snow. My school took precautions when it snowed, they let school out as soon as it snows. I walked home with my friend so it wasnt that bad, the first time we nearly killed a kid by makin a snowball and puttin it in water and threw it across the street and it hit him in the back of the head. HAHAHAHAHAHA :D

I live in Canada ... in a semi-rural area in essentially an open field and I don't even have the benefits of the light pollution and all other forms of cold killing smogs that cover Toronto. That's all you're getting from me. ^__^ The buses are still down, I got a ride to school but was late [grumble i hate my step-father]. Anyway I've decided walking is for the best ... [in comparison *cough*] so I'm walking for the rest of the week to and from school, hopefully it's all solved during the break.

Canada hs its' good and bad point .... the key negatives winter being a major pain in the butt. Oh well, I walked today to school in the middle of a snowstorm, I love it here @__@
I came to school to find like five people in my classes. [currently it's lunch break]. Well I'm ok, the snow kinda was pretty and kept me from thinking about how cold it was. Gah! My hair is still soaked!!! [that's what I get for having long hair T_T].
he he he lating was fun we plyed 'duo surgit' an bridged version of seven upwhere all wing and addressing must be done in atin if we didn'nt worksheets .... i ended up whining over and over in latin for the worksheets.

ahh.. that suck O.o;;

i hate schools. i really do. i hate *adults* in general >=| anyone in charge is always corrupt!

teacher-bitch.. nehe.. anyway.

must be neat to get that much snow (hey.. you can type snow wrong and end with .. 'nose' x_x; ).. here in unrural [location], a threat of 5 inches is enough to make everyone panic and/or celebrate the 'snowday'.. which happened. yesh. ph33r the five inches of school-closing doom.
ahh..well.. i hate snow. winter in general, its too cold for my tastes, and too dry so my lips and skin crack off x_X.. whee.. i'd prefer if everything was around 45-65F and rainy, all the time ^_^ with occasional bouts of sun to complain about, of course ;)

yeh. unrelated. were you frostbitten again, though, setsuri?? O.o; ...o.O

I have to look forward to 30 to 40 degree temps most of the week. This city sux. In the winter it gets as low as 15 degrees and in the summer it gets as hot 115 dgrees. I dont know whether i wanna freeze or burn to death.

Setsuri

I would honestly choose freeze. i mean would you rather die by falling asleep peacefully into a snowbank as everything goes numb or feel your flesh melting and smell it too [burning flesh- especially hair is the most disgusting smell ever! I should know. why you don't leave looooooong hair loose while walking around a house lit primarily by candles.]

HAHAHA. Your funny setsuri
That happened to one of my old girlfriends, but only she wasnt that lucky. She lost most of her hair. poor thing.

he he he, I was lucky Nyo! My hair went right up in flames... the worst part was we were whining about the smell while washing down the walls for the painting, we had thought it was her mother's errr... 'wonderful' homecooking. >_< we only realised it was my hair being on fire when her brother walked by said 'Sets.. y'know your hair's on fire, see ya guys later.' ... his voice was completly monotone I was sorta affronted til my friend screamed and I looked in the mirror.
Man was my face red... and so was my hair...
I did the pat it down.. please note that is stupid. I'm very lucky I didn't get burnt badly. My hair was trashed though, unluckily enough it wasn't beyond repair so I wasn't allowed to cut it short like I had wanted it back then.

It is one of those things, I don't mind my hair being long now because I was able to get it to a manageable length... floor length is ridiculous for a 14 year old tomboy. Now I'm sixteen and have it to my waist which suits me fine. :D

Again, burnt hair and flesh really gross and smelly, if you have to die by heat or cold find yourself a really cuddly snowbank or find some slightly thawed meat in a commercial meat locker and have a nice nap.

awwwwwwwww. poor setsuri lost all her pretty hair, poor baby. At lkeast your hair grew back. My ex-gf's hair had a small scar on her head from the burn marks so she has like a small bald spot. Serves her rite, hehehehe :D
