okay i dont know if any of you people have heard or not but toyota has decided to put its one of its many companies that make the cars in a place called san antonio, texas. now i am all for the well being of the economy and giving work to half the ppl of the city(overexaggerated i know but i dont like them) but theyre building the company in the country area of san antonio and theyre taking away the beauty of the country cutting down trees and flowers and takeing away the land from the ppl(my father says that they can do that) and thats so not right i just went out that way today too and its horrible everything looks like a ...its looking like the inside of the city all like crap.....sry for that ....and the country is not supposed to be like that hint the reason why ppl move out there

Well, i hate to break it to you, but the whole reason for urbban sprawl is that the poeople need somewhere to go. the North American continent is bloody huge, if yuo really want a little spot of nature, just wlak five miles in any direction, and there yuo are. progress often comes at the expense of the land and it's beauty. there just isn'tr too much yuo can do about it.

I agree with you RKgirl!The beauty of nature should be protected. However Road_Kill is right. There is a lot of open land in th US and people do need somewhere spread out into. Besides, isn't Texas mostly just deserted wastland?

PPl, I live in Texas and it is not country. Thats a little dillusion thought up by some people who have been here. Also we really get pissed off when ppl think we are hicks and live on ranches, maby in like trinity TX but otherwise we are almost as non country as NY.

yea i know what u mean nyko..ppl somehow think texas is just plain desert and has tons of oil mines laying everywhere and yet its not like that ...its as u said like new york but less crowded and bigger. yea its just like ne other city....but other than that back to my topic i guess i see ya'lls points it just looks seriously ugly....and yea .....but i guess if we have the land we should use it(then again we might get polluted poisoned etc if we let them build it) well i will get over it sooner or laterz
